–       Works on a cruise line in Hawaii, traveling to each island for 6 months at a time

–       Believes that a woman has it harder than anyone else in a professional kitchen

–       Loves Malcolm X, uses his quote, “By any means necessary”, as a personal mantra

–       Wants to own her own restaurant one day so se can work in environment free of trash-talkers and ignorant people

–       Fell in love with cooking at 5 years old when she helped grate cheese with her mother

–       Feels that most chefs are like robots: they lack conviction and creativity when they cook

–       She is sick of being in the shadows of other less capable chefs; she believes Hell’s Kitchen can be her time to finally shine

–       Although she can cook all varieties of food she is an exceptional pastry chef

–       Grew up in the tough South Side of Chicago and credits her father for her making it out in a positive state of being

–       She’s angry!
