ABOUT:

–       Andrew started cooking Shrimp Etouffee at 6 years old with his mom.

–       He thinks cooking is one of the only jobs where you can’t screw people over and make them happy.

–       After Hurricane Katrina, Andrew lost his love for cooking but couldn’t stay out of the kitchen for too long…In order to offer help and give back to those around him, Andrew got back in the kitchen by cooking for police officers for a period of 1.5 – 4 years.

–       Andrew’s a very competitive person who always has to win.

–       He plays in football, basketball and softball leagues and enjoys to play golf.

–       Andrew prefers and enjoys a fast pace, high volume environment to work in and lets pressure drive him.

–       He has exceptional knife skills and can multi-task really well.

–       Andrew’s most life changing event was when his son, Brayden was born and his life was changed for the better. He was forced to live for someone other than himself and feels that currently he needs more of challenge in his career.

–       Andrew is continuously striving to make his family proud, hence his interest in wanting to make it on the show and bring everything’s he’s got to win Hell’s Kitchen!
