–       When he was in elementary school he would sell candy bars for money. He decided  to make “Scooby Snacks” from a children’s Scooby Doo cookbook and bring those to sell to his classmates. They were a hit and at that moment he fell in love with baking.

–       But don’t be fooled, Donte isn’t all pastry. He doubled in savory and pastry in culinary school and says he’s a double threat!

–       Actually a triple threat because the boy can sing too!

–       He eventually wants to own a dessert themed food truck and travel around bring his delicious treats and smiles to people across the US.

–       Both of his aunts are great cooks but he says his motivation is become a better man than his father is and prove our generation still has good ethics.

–       If you try to back stab him, watch out!  He’ll rise above the situation and will get them in the end.

–       Has tons of burns on his arms from cooking and once fell into a hole while carrying trays of food.

–       Says he’s a bit of a loner and dances to the beat of his own drum, no matter what others think.
