–       Voleo’s Pizza – Owner / Chef 2000-Present

–       K Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen – Sous Chef 1988-1999

–       Voleo’s Pizza – Everything 1985-1988


–       Never went to culinary school but learned how to cook through repetition.  He worked each station in the kitchen for a minimum of 6 months as training.

–       David helped his father open Voleo’s Pizzeria and once David got more training with cooking, he took over the restaurant and added seafood, Cajun, creole and German food to the menu.

–       Enjoys evolving and learning how to cook different types of cuisines.

–       Restaurant was damaged first by Hurricane Katrina then a few months later the next hurricane came and dumped water throughout his restaurant, but David didn’t let these tragedies discourage him but instead they motivated him to work harder and create more in his restaurant.

–       Had a motorcycle crash that almost cost him his life and this taught him to appreciate life more than ever before.

–       He wants to bring his diverse background in cooking cuisines to the show and incorporate his southern flair.  David wants to win Hell’s Kitchen.  He wants to be the one to put Louisiana on the map of cooking.
