–       Drew is an unbelievably young looking 42 year-old private chef to the elite and originally from South Africa.


–       Currently, Drew works for a family in the Boston area, and loves the ability to create foods from different areas of the world. Working for the wealthy gives him the freedom and the budget to buy the best ingredients available.


–       When he was a child, his mother sent Prince Charles and Lady Diana a wedding gift of homemade granola.  His mother received a glowing thank you note, so later in life Drew was inspired to use the recipe to create “As Good as Gold” granola, which is sold to restaurants and hotels across the Northeast.


–       Besides culinary arts, Drew’s passion is rugby, and he can talk a big game to Chef Ramsay about South African vs European  rugby.  According to Drew, Hell’s Kitchen is like rugby: “Ya gotta take a couple of elbows to your head, mate.”
