ABOUT:

–      James is a loving father and caring person, but very unyielding at the same time.

–      Very bullheaded.  Once his mind is set on something there is no changing it. He’s as stubborn as they get!

–      His temper flairs up when he feels people in his kitchen are being lazy.

–      His life motto is, “Pain is weakness leaving the body.”

–      He doesn’t have a care in the world of what strangers think of him.

–      Believes it is a chef’s responsibility to constantly learn and better himself to succeed.

–      Attended Texas Tech with the thought of becoming an architect; while in school he fell in love with cooking and changed his major.

–      Questions the legitimacy of Gordon’s cooking skills, sees him as nothing more than over-dramatic television.

–      Extremely cocky and believes that by the time he is in the industry as long as Gordon he will be better than him.
