ABOUT:

–        Mark started cooking professionally at 14 years old by getting paid under the table

–        He graduated 7th in his class with Honors in culinary school at the CIA

–        Mark started the New Orleans Culinary Council

–        He won the award for “Overall Best of Show” for 2 years in a row at the New Orleans Wine & Food Festival (2008-2009)

–        He is a goalie in hockey so he goes to get his kitchen aggression out on the ice.  But don’t be fooled… this sweet family man comes equipped with an extremely competitive nature.  In fact, Mark says he got divorced 2 weeks after his marriage because he was so competitive and would be jealous of other guys

–        Mark has a chip on his shoulder and says he has something to prove.  He says he’s a great cook, but is looked down upon because he works at The Marriott.  He believes he has skills bigger than the place he works at and wants to showcase his talents on Hell’s Kitchen

–       Mark is currently happily married and a proud father of twins – his goal is to continuously make his family proud

–       Mark is a triple threat – he’s a Chef whose strengths are working with food, money and people and he is now ready to take on his next big challenge!
