–       Nastasia, “The Diva Chef,” thinks she is better than everyone else and craves a lot of attention and praise.

–       She knew she wanted to work in the kitchen since she was in the 8th grade. She went on a college tour with her brother and realized she could actually have a career in cooking.

–       Being a cook is important to her because she feels that she can keep the memory of her grandmother alive. Her Grandmother raised her like her own, because her parents were to young to take care of her. She passed away when Nastasia was in the 7th grade and it was the hardest thing she had to overcome in her life.

–       Outside of the kitchen Nastasia is a girly girl with a positive, strong attitude. She is resentful that men are given better opportunities in the kitchen than women and she wants everyone to know that she is not just another “Pantry bitch.” She won’t do salads or baking because she says it’s beneath her.

–       Nastasia has worked as a private chef for celebrities and her first job out of culinary school was at Emerils in Miami where they would do 250 covers a night.
