ABOUT:

–      Timothy Abell is a very talented chef with a big dream.   His parents were horrible cooks so when he was around good food, he was very turned on by it.

–      He went to college for 5 years and never graduated because nothing made him happy.  When he realized that he preferred cooking in a restaurant while attending college to his major, he decided to quit and enroll in culinary school.

–      He has worked his way up from dishwasher, to sous chef, to now being the owner of his own business.  His truck, The Flatiron Truck, is like a high-end fast food restaurant.  He does around 80-100 covers during lunch, which can be very hard to do in a small space.

–      He has received great reviews, and has gotten write-ups in EaterLA, LA Weekly, and GQ.  Criticism fuels him.  If you tell him he can’t do something, he’ll do it and shove it in your face.
